TRADEMARK AND LOGO USAGE GUIDELINES

These Trademark and Logo Usage Guidelines ("Guidelines") set forth the rules established by CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. ("CCC") for using or referring to the CCC Secure Share™ Network ("Secure Share") and any marks associated with Secure Share ("CCC Secure Share trademarks"). The CCC Secure Share trademarks may only be used by you if you have agreed to the Developer Registration Agreement (available here: https://www.cccsecureshare.com/legal/developerregistrationagreement), have had your registration approved by CCC, and remain in good standing as a Secure Share application developer. Only use logos or artwork that have been provided by CCC without alteration. CCC reserves the right to modify these Guidelines as it deems necessary or appropriate, including by written agreement or license with third parties, and to withdraw permission at any time to use any of the CCC Secure Share trademarks.

You may only use the CCC Secure Share trademarks if you are licensed to do so by CCC. Nothing in these Guidelines grants any license to any intellectual property of CCC, including in the CCC Secure Share trademark, and you should not assume that you have the right or license to use any of the CCC Secure Share trademarks, or any CCC or Secure Share logo, except as specifically provided by a license or other written agreement with CCC.

The CCC Secure Share trademarks may not be used in any way that could damage or otherwise impair the goodwill associated with CCC or its brands. The CCC Secure Share trademarks may not be used in connection with any app that has not been approved by CCC for the CCC Secure Share™ Marketplace or by any entity that has not entered into a valid Application Developer Registration Agreement with CCC. To avoid confusion, do not use the CCC Secure Share trademarks as part of your company or app name. In addition, the CCC Secure Share trademarks must not appear more prominently than your company title and logo, and you may not combine the CCC Secure Share trademarks with your or any third party marks. It must be clear from your use of the CCC Secure Share trademarks that CCC and you are separate entities, and your use of the CCC Secure Share trademarks shall not imply any endorsement of your company or app by CCC.

The CCC Secure Share trademark is an adjective and should be followed by an appropriate noun. The CCC Secure Share trademark may not be used as a noun, or alone as a shorthand way of identifying a product or service. For example:

Since a trademark is not a noun, it must never be used in possessive or plural forms, and should never be used as a verb or a pun.

Trademark ownership is attributed in two ways, with the use of a trademark symbol (TM, tm, SM, or ®) after the trademark, and with a trademark legend, usually found at the end of a document in legible text following the copyright notice. Assuming that you have a license to use the CCC Secure Share trademarks, it should always be accompanied by a proper trademark symbol and legend.

Assuming you are permitted to use a CCC Secure Share trademark, please make sure to attribute the mark with the proper symbol. Always use the ® symbol with the Secure Share logo. Trademark symbols should be used on CCC Secure Share trademarks as follows:

Use an appropriate symbol in both the first prominent use of the trademark (in headlines, banners, etc.) and in the first use in the text of body copy.

The following trademark legend is the legal text that identifies the CCC Secure Share trademarks. The legend should be printed in legible type and in a location typically used for copyright and other legal notices. For example, the legend may be printed at the end of a document, on the back of a package, on the front cover of documentation, or on the bottom of a web page.

Third parties are prohibited from using CCC or Secure Share trade dress for their own apps or website promoting their apps.

Please report any infringement of CCC trademarks or trade dress to twilliams@cccis.com. Please provide as much detail as possible regarding the identity of the possible infringer as well as the suspected infringing use.

App developers with a current license to use the CCC Secure Share trademarks may use the following logos in unaltered form subject to the conditions included in these Guidelines and in any written agreement with CCC. If you cannot find an appropriate logo, or have any other questions regarding logo usage, contact the CCC Marketing Department.

The logos should be the same size or larger than any other logo on the page/screen/sign in which it is being used. Use the gray or black logo when the background is a light color or white; use the white logo when the background is a dark color or black.

The logo should always be shown with an empty frame of background color surrounding it. The height and width of that frame should be equal to the height of the word "SECURE" in the logo. See example below.

The logo should always be large enough for all of the words therein to be clearly legible. The logo may not be stretched vertically or horizontally and must maintain its original proportions.
